Skate report: Pettersson to LTIR, two-thirds of Penguins’ defense out
Read Time:17 Second
The Penguins placed Marcus Pettersson on the NHL’s Long-Term Injured Reserve list Monday morning, just after their skate at PPG Paints Arena to prepare for the evening’s game against the Senators. He thus joined Jan Rutta and Dmitry Kulikov on LTIR, and Jeff Petry’s also hurt, meaning two-thirds of the team’s top six defensemen aren’t available.
